Great teams are borne from disciplined leadership that facilitates the following:
First they decide Who … Who is needed on the team. Who believes, embodies, leads, and executes the shared values and principles you have defined for your team/organization.
Next they determine What … What is the change you are seeking to create? What will this team focus on accomplishing?
Then they will figure out How … How will the team achieve their ‘what'? What are the tactics and steps needed to maintain a laser-like focus to achieve their ‘what’?
It is a leaders responsibility to define the Who, vision cast the What, and create an environment of empowerment and accountability for the team in determining and executing the How.
